ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION The management of zygomycosis has always centered around a triad of strategies to cure this unusual, but not rare infection. These three therapeutic areas are (i) the control of the underlying disease, (ii) surgery, and (iii) antifungal therapy (1-3).
