ABSTRACT

Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a common and difficult disease to manage. As has been detailed in the previous chapters, the pathophysiology is multifactorial and so are the co-morbidities. The previous chapter detailed a comprehensive approach to the medical treatment of this disease. When medical treatment fails, surgery is usually considered. In this final chapter, we will concentrate on surgical treatment and its outcomes as well as possible preoperative factors that might be predictive of surgical outcomes.
