ABSTRACT
The penis is a unique, complex, and dynamic organ. It must perform the important tasks of urine passage, erection, vaginal penetration, and ejaculate delivery. Equally important, the penis must be able to appreciate both tactile and erogenous sensation. All these functions can be achieved by this one organ because it has an intricate interposition of vascular, neural, erectile, and urothelial tissues.
