ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION It is inevitable that emergencies will occur over the course of one’s practice and may include cardiac arrests, myocardial infarctions, strokes, syncope, seizures, allergic reactions, excessive bleeding, and drug toxicities. An organized response is critical to properly manage these events and obtain the best outcome for the patient.
