ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION In the preceding chapters, the principles of flap surgery have been well covered. These serve as a good basis for understanding transposition flaps, which are conceptually the most difficult flaps to design and execute. In this chapter, we will present some general concepts about transposition flaps and then discuss specific examples. Finally, we will cover anatomic sites where they are most commonly used.
