ABSTRACT
Choroid plexus (CP) tumors are rare primary brain tumors arising from CP epithelium, which derives from specialized ventricular ependymal cells around certain segments of the neural tube. These neoplasms were first described in 1833 by Guerard and the first resective operation was preformed in 1906 by Bielschowsy.
