ABSTRACT
JOACHIM M. BAEHRING is Director of the Yale Brain Tumor Center, New Haven, Connecticut, and Assistant Professor, Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut. His research interests include the development of molecular markers and treatment protocols for primary CNS lymphoma. Dr. Baehring received his M.D. degree from Johannes Gutenberg University School of Medicine, Mainz, Germany, and completed neurology training at Hahnemann University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed post-doctoral fellowships in molecular oncology at Ruprecht Karls University, Heidelberg, Germany, and neuro-oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.
