ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION Current medicine policies, both in developed and underdeveloped countries, seek the same objectives of efficacy, safety, and quality of accessible products. However, different historical, social, and economic circumstances in such countries have resulted in different scenarios associated with their own internal issues which have been and are being currently resolved according to each particular prevailing situation.
