ABSTRACT
The present chapter deals generally with the intellectual property issues; especially pharmaceutical patent issues and more particularly, issues relating to “controlled drug delivery technology.” The chapter will briefly deal with these issues giving a perspective to the reader about intellectual property in India, in particular pharmaceutical patents and the challenges arising out of them. The chapter will also provide the reader a bird’s eye view of the law and practice governing these issues in the prevailing scenario.
