ABSTRACT
Management of head injury is integral to resuscitation and treatment of the trauma patient. The anesthesiologist plays a pivotal role in brain resuscitation efforts during the perioperative period as the primary physician in orchestrating airway management, control of blood pressure (BP) and fluid administration, ventilatory requirements, anesthetic choices, and monitoring decisions.
