ABSTRACT
During the past decade the childhood obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS)
has become widely recognized as a common disorder with potentially serious
clinical implications. Considerable insights have been gained into the morbid-
ities associated with OSAS, and into their underlying mechanisms.
