ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION The definition of container closure integrity is simply, the ability of a package to adequately contain its contents by preventing content loss or contamination. This basic description is clear and straightforward. But the concept of container closure integrity is surprisingly complicated given the variety and complexity of parenteral product dosage forms and their packaging.
