ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION This chapter suggests an approach to the organization and management of computer compliance that satisfies the regulatory accountabilities. However, in presenting this offering, we do not purport to suggest that this is the only acceptable approach. The needs of each pharmaceutical and healthcare company will vary since these depend on many different factors, including company culture, how much work there is to do, and the availability of suitably skilled company and contract staff.
