ABSTRACT

Gene-Tox database, the EPA/IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer, World Health Organization), Genetic Activity Profile (GAP) database, and the Toxicological Activity Profile (TAP) prototype database. While many systems provide primarily either bibliographic information or summary factual data from toxicological studies, relatively few contain adequate information to allow application of dose-response models. Woodall (2008) describes the Exposure-Response database (ERDB) that allows entry of detailed toxicological results from experimental studies in support of dose-response assessment (2). The model thus permits a high level of automation in performance of various types of dose-response analyses.
