ABSTRACT
I. Introduction Lung disease is the commonest cause of death in cystic fibrosis (CF) and accounts for much of the morbidity of the condition. This chapter reviews the pathophysiology of CF lung disease, and its pulmonary presentations and complications. Details of the microbiology of the CF airway are discussed in chapter 4.
