ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will briefly describe the historical background, anatomical considerations, and current theory of chronic lower extremity venous insufficiency (CVI). We will subsequently focus on proven treatment options for the percutaneous management of this disease before concluding with a contemporary treatment algorithm.
