ABSTRACT
Another common variation (3%) is the take-off of the left vertebral artery from the aortic arch (refer to Figure 26.3).1 Less common is the anomalous take-off of the right subclavian off the aortic arch which then courses posterior to the esophagus and anterior to the spine (refer to Figure 26.4).
