Transcervical tubal cannulation for the treatment of proximal tubal occlusion

The spontaneous pregnancy rates following hysteroscopic tubal cannulation are 29-71.4%, and the ectopic pregnancy rates 3.6-5.9%.

We conduct the procedure in the follicular phase of the cycle. To exclude concomitant distal tubal disease, a laparoscopy is first performed. A second surgeon performs the hysteroscopy – ideally using a second light source and monitor.
