Multichannel Recorder As the procedure involves measuring simultaneous pressures during both phases of lower urinary tract function and flow during the voiding phase, a multichannel recorder is necessary ( Fig. 34.3 ). Many systems are available (6) , most of which have dispensed with a strip chart output in favor of television monitor display of the procedure.
