Complications Speights et al. reported no complications in 18 women who had laparoscopic paravaginal repair ( 9 ).

Behnia-Willison et al. reported on 212 women who had laparoscopic paravaginal repairs with concomitant procedures with a median blood loss of 50 ml ( 10 ). Nine women (4.2%) had major complications including bladder, ureter or bowel injury, anesthetic complications, unintended laparotomy, or blood loss >1000 ml. In addition there were 61 minor complications including prolonged catheterization, deep venous thrombosis, hematoma, and infection.
