ABSTRACT
SURGERY FOR MALE INFERTILITY: OBSTRUCTIVE AZOOSPERMIA When an urologist is presented with an azoospermic semen sample, specific questions arise, such as: Should any diagnostic tests be run on the sample? Is an obstruction in the ductal system the cause of the lack of sperm? and What are the therapeutic options that can be offered to the patient? In this chapter, each of these questions will be discussed to provide the urologist with the tools necessary to deal with these issues.
