ABSTRACT

Facial aesthetic enhancement has grown with the development of numerous minimally invasive cosmetic procedures in ethnic groups. Non-Caucasians are slightly less likely to obtain cosmetic procedures compared with their Caucasian counterparts. Nonetheless, ethnic minorities account for a significant population interested in cosmetics procedures and will likely comprise a higher percentage of cosmetic procedures in the future ( 1 ). Our ethnic patients have slightly different ideals of beauty and tend to age differently from Caucasians, so it is important that their aesthetic treatments take into account these differences.
