ABSTRACT

The half-life of anti-D immune globulin is 16 to 24 days. When the 300 mg dose is used and delivery does not occur within 12 weeks of injection, a second 300 mg dose of anti-D immunoglobulin should be given. The antibody titer obtained at term is occasionally still positive (1:1, 1:2 titer) after anti-D immunoglobulin at 28 weeks’ gestation.
