Proctitis/Proctocolitis Results from anal intercourse or secondary spread of secretions from the cervix.
l Serovars D through K-anal pruritus and a mucous rectal discharge that may become mucopurulent. The infection remains superficial, is limited to the rectum, and closely resembles gonococcal proctitis. Infection is often asymptomatic.
