ABSTRACT
This book has described the development and utilization of percutaneous leafl et repair for mitral regurgitation (MR) using the MitraClip®. Several other approaches to percutaneous mitral repair are in various stages of development. In fact, at the time of this writing, one of these devices, Carillon from the Cardiac Dimensions, has already received CE approval for use in Europe.
