Leisure travel today has become a basic need and turned into a commodity. The desire and urge to travel and ‘go some place’ is nowadays viewed as a matter of course. By and large, it can be said, no matter what the circumstances, people will make time and means available to travel. They may undertake a short trip, an extended vacation some other time, vary the standards and so on, but travel they will.
