Bullying and harassment is now recognised as an increasing problem in today's workplace and is attracting considerable media attention. One of the most high profile recent cases has been that of Steven Horkulak, a City worker who was awarded nearly a million pounds in damages after claiming that the president of his employers, Cantor Fitzgerald International, had screamed obscenities at him and threatened him over a period of six months.
