ABSTRACT
My main goal in creating this piece was to show Jimi Hendrix playing his favorite song, one which he loves and which gives him a lot of pleasure to play, but also makes him seem sad, although I didn’t want this mood to be too obvious. Why Jimi Hendrix? Because my friend convinced me to give it a try in the Max3d. pl CG challenge, called Myths and Legends. The idea of showing the guitarist – undeniably a “legend” – was just brilliant, so it had to be Jimi. My inspiration was through Google, where I would advise people to search for reference images. My biggest motivation came from my friend, who constantly reminded me to work well, but quickly, for which I thank him now. I aimed to achieve a good, final effect and make the scene work well as a whole, especially the colors, because they give depth and mood to this piece.
