ABSTRACT
Some time ago I painted my first rabbit, which was a kind of prototype bunny (Fig.01). I really enjoyed drawing this and a lot of people really liked it, so much so that I considered maybe drawing some more and to create a calendar with them. Painting the rabbits in different situations always gave me a pleasant and simple break from ordinary work. Meanwhile I have since drawn twelve bunnies in total. The calendar design offers the basis for many ideas, such as different seasons and events, as each picture shows the bunny’s different traits and even mimics normal day to day situations. The Halloween picture had to differ from all other standard Halloween clichés.
