ABSTRACT

Embedding and supporting mobile learning within any organisation will require an understanding and evaluation of it that extends beyond pedagogic considerations and examines it alongside other forms of provision and delivery in terms of institutional expectations about a range of issues. These issues include:

• costs, funding and resourcing; scaling up and sustaining; • quality assurance, fitness-for-purpose and validation; • infrastructure and technical support; • staffing issues and the management of change; • monitoring and evaluation; • legal and ethical expectations.
