A perspective follows specific assumptions and develops a line of reasoning on the basis of these assumptions. As a result there is no right or wrong between perspectives. Consistency is, however, mandatory. Within strategy research but also within the field of business strategy itself one cannot use different perspectives simultaneously or one cannot use techniques of a single perspective within the framework of another perspective.
