Overcoming inequality in Latin America: conclusion and policy recommendations

This book has discussed and reviewed the importance of inequality for social and economic development and argued for the need to reduce economic, social and political inequalities in Latin America (and in other developing regions) through better macroeconomic policies, paced liberalisation reforms, sound programmes of redistribution of incomes, assets and wealth, as well as social and political rights.
