ABSTRACT
Settlement and land use variations on Bahrain have been episodic. These can be related to a variety of cultural, economic, and natural environmental changes affecting the islands and the region, but they do not yet provide sufficient insight into the land use potential of Bahrain as a whole. Such a definition for land use can be important for developing future site survey strategies on Bahrain.
