ABSTRACT
So far, we have described the time that teachers spent on what are normally thought of as the main responsibilities of their work, namely teaching and the preparation and professional development associated with it. However, the teacher’s work includes much more than this. In particular there are activities which, though not connected directly with teaching, contribute to the effective running of the school in various ways.
