ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the fertility transition in the Baltic states-Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. The most complete data for the region are available on Estonia. For the study of the regional differences, the analysis is mainly based on the Princeton European Fertility Project indexes at the county level. For the comparison of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, some other indexes have also been used.
