When it came to Ultra, such tendencies toward extreme caution expressed themselves in heavy emphasis on its defensive values. Occasionally one even finds surviving Ultra representatives talking as if this were its only utility. Perhaps there is some relation here to two facets in the processing of Ultra materials that may deserve more intensive review than they have yet received.
