ABSTRACT
The Web is a great medium for disseminating news externally and internally. Many of the mundane tasks of alerting readers, soliciting, gathering, and formatting stories can be handled by intelligent agents. The challenge, taken up by KMi Planet, is to integrate these tasks in a compelling fashion with minimal overheads for the in-house reporters and maximal benefit for readers.
