ABSTRACT
At a Sunday morning worship service in a nursing home, I invited those attending to share with me their favorite verses from Scripture. I wrote each verse down on an index card as they were given to me. Later, as I looked over the cards, I was interested to find that every verse contributed came from the Psalms. The book of Psalms hold great meaning for people of faith. It is a trusted companion for a lifetime. Psalms are a reliable source of comfort and assurance throughout life and especially in the later years.
