ABSTRACT
This volume presents a way of thinking about and studying youthwork. It suggests that youthworkers, like modern dancers, plan (choreograph) their shifts in advance, bring themselves and their skills to the moment, and improvise along the way. It also supports the notion that one way to understand youthwork is through story-our own stories, youth stories, and the stories youthworkers and youth construct together as they dance.
