ABSTRACT
The project Authority File by Biblioteca Augusta, the State Archives of Perugia, and the Archive Superintendence of Umbria aims at the creation of an experimental aid for reference and bibliographic control addressed to librarians, keepers of archives, and historians interested in the study of the Perugian area in the period prior to the nineteenth century.
