ABSTRACT
The times they are a’changing! An old millennium is fast ending and the new one approaches. Never mind that these timeposts are of mankind’s own making, or that 1,000 years is an eye blink in the scheme of things. Calls for improved schooling seem to have accelerated, maybe for no other reason than our collective unease about the approach of the year 2000.
