ABSTRACT
This chapter is about user support, a part of the human-computer interface process that makes it easy for people to use our applications. In this chapter, we
explain the concept of user support in the context of multimedia systems and
provide a set of guidelines for orienting users to a program, facilitating navigation, keeping the user informed, and providing general support.
