ABSTRACT
Timothy Barnard has edited a monograph on Argentine cinema (Argentine Cinema, Toronto, 1986) and translated a memoir of the tango (71Jt Bandonion: A Tango History, London. Canada, 1988). He has prepared a three-houf radio documentary on political film censorship West, East, and South (CBC Radio IDEAS, 1985) and published articles, primarily on Latin American cinema. in a number of international journals and anthologies. He has managed international film and human rights projects and worked as a translator, interpreter, and English as a Second language instructor. He holds a B.F.A. in Cinema Studies from Concordia University in Montreal.
