ABSTRACT

Consequently, in addition to knowing how to deliver social services to the problemed workers, clients and other individuals associated with the corporate environment, industrial social workers should be familiar with basic administration and management theories and methods pertinent to business and industrial environments. The viability and strength of an employee assistance program (EAP) could be determined more directly by the industrial social workers who are capable of integrating social work with business concepts, Overdependence on corporate experts may result in ah underestimation of the merit of the EAP due to their unfamiliarity with social work concepts and theories and scope of the benefits associated with the service system.
