ABSTRACT
In a program of this magnitude, the hardware and software selected are crucial to success. Much thought was therefore given to developing a configuration of hardware and software appropriate for secondary schools. This chapter discusses the hardware and software items selected for the program, the reasons for the choices, and such related issues as security and maintenance. The participation of third-party hardware and software vendors is also described and discussed.
