ABSTRACT
Our human resources are our richest asset, but we are not offering the best opportunities for individuals to develop themselves. The climate of uncertainty and escalating change creates new demands, yet education and training are not meeting the requirements of industry and society, nor the needs of the vast majority of individuals. We need people whose vision is that of personal responsibility, personal competence, compassion and creativity. In our experience this can best be achieved by enabling everyone directly to address their own learning.
