ABSTRACT
The Internet is emerging as a viable and powerful educational technology. Though often used as a source of information, the inherent networking functionality of the Internet lends itself to extending the range and scope of practical science in schools. Experiments can be illustrated, reported and commented on, data can be combined, shared and made available as secondary sources to all.
