ABSTRACT

The Egyptian revolution that erupted in 2011 with the slogan of freedom, dignity, and social justice has succeeded in removing a government that failed to respect these social rights. Currently, the revolution is seeking to achieve its demands relying on various tools and available resources. The social work profession is considered one of the most important tools in this revolution, but some questions need answers: Is social work ready and qualified to perform this role? Do social workers have the competencies to take on this responsibility? Do social work practitioners have the preparation and skills to carry out these tasks?
