ABSTRACT
Acting as guidance to staff about expected standards of conduct and also as a yardstick for school leaders to measure misconduct, most LEAs now have a code of conduct for staff in schools (see chapter 6). Other sectors may have equivalent codes setting out minimum acceptable standards of conduct.
