ABSTRACT
This chapter examines anxiety disorders that have not already been covered in other chapters. Using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-lV-TR, 2000) as the criterion, this leaves panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), acute stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), anxiety disorder due to a general medical condition, substance-induced anxiety disorder, and finally anxiety disorder not otherwise specified.
